Whatever your field , whatever your love , no matter where you live , its nice to have a plan , What are you goals? Sacrifices? 5 year - 10 year- beyond? Where do you wish to reside?

I canβt speak for a 5 year plan, but my plan between now and the end of 2024 is to continue my progress at the gym, lose thigh fat and tone muscle throughout my body. Pick up more hours with work, and quit my volunteer job in January so that I can focus more on my paying job. Have the bathroom in my home replaced, rip out and replace the bath, floor, walls and ceiling, replace the bath with a shower. Save up and take a trip with my partner to a city 3 hours away, to get a new tattoo and see my GP. Finish paying off my car and become more financially stable.
They are all really great goals , and you have a lot on ! Wow , impressive.
Interesting question.
Sacrifices? I don't know. I'm selfish. As in, I'm giving but I'm selfish in that I don't want to make sacrifices if I don't have to. So rather than plan them, I'll deal as I have to.
As for five year plan? I will have two books published and be living on the coast of Maine.
Sounds a nice life though , I reckon I'm pretty selfish too these days.
Two books published is awesome :) .. Any chance to make money out of it? Or is it all as they say?
Great question. My intent is to have both published by mass market publishers. And thus income. We'll see... still writing the first one.
Thats fantastic , well good luck getting picked up and I hope you make a literal plethora out of it because its a massive gig to commit to...
Thank you sir. Really appreciate that. That's why I'm still working full time lol
none. i have been an adult since i was a kid. i have a career and my first home bought and paid for, during covid the last few years had worked 7 days a week 12-14 hours a day, which relaxed 6 months ago after a near fatal car accident. i have no 5 year or 10 year plan. i live day to day moment to moment.
I'm not sure you do ! Because all that stuff you have done already is not without planning , thats a massive workload , thats also not without planning , and house fully paid at 32 ? Wholly sht , by Aussie standards that would literally be impossible.
Well done is all I can say.
i never planned it i just kept going to be honest.
i literally killed it and burned myself out the last few years and thank you πβ
Yeah , well , don't kill yourself doing it ( Obviously ) anyone working those kind of hours is at risk in my view , I used to do same same..
So whether it was conscious planning or otherwise , doesn't really matter , you got the result right !
@molonski2
well a near fatal car accident stopped my overtime grind a few months ago so im recovering still but thank you
ππβ
Oh yeah , I didn't make mention of that , sht -- what happened? You know I learnt so long ago with driving Sabai Sabai , you have to drive their cars also , anything can happen..
Maybe it indirectly changed your circumstance for the better? A serendipity maybe?
i got tboned and flipped 3 times across the highway. they thought i was dead, the guy was illegally on the road a 90 in a 40 blew a red light
and yeah i try to take lessons from everything in life and think everything happens because its supposed to
WOW ! Thats crazy , that you were in wrong place at wrong time , having been in a car that has flipped I know that feeling -- see , you were just meant to be here..
i know and well maybe
