I don't know how to grow outside of Academia because I don't get the same level of training outside school. What should I do?

I have 2000 books so I could read the books but I feel like I should be producing my own material too.

Did you know how to grow in kindergarten before you went there?
How about collage? Did you truly know how to grow in collage before you went there?
You need to put the books down and jump into life with both feet. The only way to know how to grow is to experience life, to learn from it and to discover where your place in life is.

Experience is the best teacher. Academia has its place but it’s expensive and time consuming. It is also, at this point, constrained by what our elites deem to be acceptable opinion. In history and the humanities, the best scholarship and art are being done outside of academic circles.

Leave the books. They help, but real life teach you everything.
