Why hasn’t my job fired me yet?

I said “F*ck me” under my breath when a customer asked for my help and they heard me and made a complaint. Seriously, why do I have a job still? I’m such a bad employee 😅

Has anyone else been in my situation? Like, you wonder why your job hasn’t fired you yet?

Are you stupid or naive to even ask that question? I mean be glad you didn't get fired and written up because when you do want to apply for the next job, no matter if you get sent to a new job or in a different company that company can actually look up. It's you where you've had a job before and called your former employer to ask what's your worth ethics are and how you worked well and what was. You know the good and the bads so whatever you thought was so great to say the f word. Even if you sit on their breath, maybe you should be happy. You didn't get fired yet.

There is no point of firing you because of customer's complaint if overall you're doing your job well. However if this keeps repeating, they might start warning you.

I may do my job well, but I’m not the greatest employee to come to for anything. Plus, I always get irritated when customers come to me for help. I just wish I was left alone.
