How important is money to u from 1 to 10?

When you say important how do you mean that? Because there are "needs" and there are "wants" in life.

As a "want in my life money is about a 9 or 10

As a "need" in my life it's about a 2

To quote the band Silverchair "you say that money is everything/ but i'd like to see you live without it".

Money is just a tool to me. Money has the utility to help a lot of people. But money will not make you a better person.

When I was your age I was pretty driven. And I remained that way till about 40. It's not that I've given up on my drive, far from it. But I'm financially secure now. I know I don't NEED any more money. I have about enough to maintain my standard of living for the rest of my life (or should at least). So anything beyond this is gravy. I'm more concerned with LIVING life now and getting the most out of my relationships. Because nobody gets to the end of thier life and says, "boy i sure wish I had worked more".

Important enough for the necessities of life. Other than that, owning free and clear a home, land, having resources to get water, make food, personal protection, and a loving family is what's truly important. You can't eat money. Money won't shelter you. And the love of money is a path to hell. I'd much rather love God, spouse, children, etc.

Eight. It solves not all problems, but a lot of problems and stress.

It doesn't buy happiness completely, but it lays the foundation for living a life where all basic needs are met. And then on top of that, you gain comfort, luxury, experiences, all the things which feed your soul and mind.

Seeking extrinsic rewards alone will not bring contentment. We need to base our lives on the intrinsic. That's where we have a chance of finding peace.

But money pays medical bills, helps others—loved ones and strangers—which builds and maintains relationships with others; it allows space, freedom, privacy, and the ability to make some choices for yourself that do not have to impinge on others.

Depends on the context. How important is money to me when it comes to survival? It’s a 10/10. I need it for shelter, food, warmth, clothing, etc. How important is money to me when it comes to love or finding a partner? Like a 4/10. I’m happy aslong as my partner can financially support his own basic needs, aswell as a little extra cash to put aside. I would not date someone for their money but I also would not date someone who has no income and expects to mooch off of my income.

Money is as important as food.

So, wherever that would be on a scale of 1 to 10, it would match that.

Money isn’t everything, just like food isn’t everything — and one can’t drown all their problems just by eating food or fix all their problems just by making money.

But, money is important for survival, just like food.

I wish I had a ton of it just to keep from being poor but, I'm not at all greedy. If I had loads of cash, it wouldn't bother me at all to give some away to total strangers in true, dire need. But, I've never been one to put a lot of stock into money.

It's important in a sense that we need money to keep the roof over our heads and to buy food and keep the electricity on

But it's not important in a sense I need money to go and buy a mansion or own expensive cars.
