I grew up going to public school, but my boyfriend and I have been discussing our desire to homeschool should we get married and have children. I like the idea of having kids do everything self paced, but I don’t have any experience teaching. Are there any homeschool parents here who can offer guidance on preparing for teaching kids at home?

There are a lot of options, Abeka is about the biggest homeschooling curriculum. They even have a physical school in Pensacola, and if you wish you can take your child down there to have their graduation ceremony. My friend graduated from there, and got an insane scholarship from them to a really nice college. But that's just the main one, there are many different ones set up to cater to however your child learns best. A lot of areas have a homeschoolers club as well, and the moms in it would be able to help you out. Our area even has a small, abeka-based school. Pretty much a private school using the Abeka curriculum. The teachers and helpers are all moms or former moms.
It's really nice you will have children. I hope you will have many children.
I don't know if there were any homeschooling available in my country. We prefer kids go to school as it helps them overcome challenges of mutism and shyness overtime. It's difficult time for the kids but it is definitely worth it
How about a couple of years going to college to get multiple degrees of education?
Multiple to be able to teach AALLL the subjects.
