Some classmates arranged to have an elementary school reunion right before we all went off to college. It was insane to see people I hadn't seen since we were 4 ft tall. I had a great time at that one. I've never attended my high school or college reunions. I figure at this point, thanks to social media, I've kept up with who I want to keep up with, and I'm happy to swallow whatever "perfect life" they are churning out via their social media and don't feel the need to network, or try to hang out with the rest, or rekindle any dead romances.

There hasn't been any reunion organized for my highschool batch. Even if there was, I probably wouldn't have joined. I don't have fond memories of highschool. College? I'd love to. It's only been a year and a half since I graduated, and reunion yet, but I'd love to. I'd take leaves and if needed to fly back to my hometown if needed. 😅 it's funny, since most of my college mates do not have fond memory of college. They prefer their highschool more and would be reluctant to come to our college reunion.

@Daniela1982 this is mostly true for everyone. Not for me though 😅. Everyone in my college knew me right from the first semester. So I made a lot of friends. And people were humble and kind, so I enjoyed their company. This wasn't the case in highschool.

Even if they did, I don’t know if I’d go… There are quite a few people I love, but we could just have our own reunion. We did a small one with 7 of us in 2019… I don’t really care about anyone else tbh.

No. Wasn’t even interested. TV & movies make high school look like the best times of our lives but to me it was just an annoying and awkward time. I was glad to be over it and hit the real world.

no. i absolutely hated those people in high school. why would i want to give myself a panic attack voluntarily? i was bullied by literally everyone. no thank you.

never heard of an elementary reunion. no such thing and no point.

college, well i still hang out with my college friends and we graduated years ago. so no need for reunion.

I never heard of elementary school reunions - ever! Back then people with young kids didn't stay in one place for too long so you never had a chance for a reunion because you didn't know that many kids from moving all the time.

I attended my 40 year reunion , and it was a really lovely night , have kept in touch with a few.

Yeah , there were no negatives , it started at lunchtime with a tour of the new school ( our old ) utterly magnificent set up with only 420 students ( we had 1200 ) ..
Sad part , at 40 years , a number had died , mainly accidents / cancer , one ( very quiet girl ) was murdered when pregnant , all that was sad , sort of mortality.
I had 3 friends into boating from when we were young , all 3 died via the water.

But you are going to get this stuff at 40 years I guess right? My primary school 50th year is this month , but I'm in Thailand , Id love to go but I just cannot sadly.. some of the people are the same but not all.

I know a guy at the gym who graduated HS the same year I did. He actually drove 8 hours to go to his reunion recently. I suppose not everyone was miserable in high school.

I've attended a few, but not all, of my high school reunions. I live far away now and it's harder to get back there.

My elementary school never had one and my high school got remoulded and changed into a new french one.. So no, never had the chance LOL

I attended my 35 and 40th high school reunion, planning on attending 50th.

Nope. I didn’t even attend my graduations. Once I was out, I was out, I never looked back.
