One that's getting on my nerves a lot lately is why don't you have kids?

I had a person ask me three times in one night after I tried to politely change the subject.

So I looked at her on the third time and said it's not for everyone. Also, what if I couldn't have kids? How do you think that could make someone feel?

I said it nicely and calmly and somehow I was the a hole that night.
