So the employer's premise is this:
1. If I hire a person with experience I will not have to train them - which saves me money!
2. Their experience might seep into the whole operation and make things run better for no extra cost!
The employed's perspective tends to be:
1. I got hired based on all the stuff I know so they must want someone who knows everything already and doesn't need to learn.
The fellow employee's:
1. This person is a cunt who refuses to learn how we do things here and is messing everything up.
2. Our employer is a moron. It's easier to teach a young dog to sit than this old one who thinks peeing in the corner equals fetch.
Obviously there are good situations where all sides communicate and benefit. But most of the time its just a lot false messaging and fragile egos.
I would blame the employees but it isn't normally in their tasks to reinterpret whatever some superior said they wanted in a more beneficial way.
Really they always hire the worst inexperienced people who lie to get a job making us train them cause we can't fire them cause of lawsuits! 😞.
Usually it's more they feel threatened about Thier job and don't like the new people.
Power hungery people are mostly like this then make reasons why the non power hungery people should be worried.
The office work place is so toxic!
But us nurses like to eat our young so...
