Why do employers that have jobs listed as "no experience required" don't hire because you don't have experience in that sector?

It's been happening to me lately. I've had my resume reviewed professionally and I did well in interviews but no one wants to hire me because of no experience. How do they ever expect to hire anyone acting like this?

Because no matter what they advertise, a bunch of people will apply and they will hire the best one. Experience might not be required, but if someone has experience it will be an advantage - unless they have so much experience that they want too much money.

Only applying for jobs that are advertised is the worst way to job hunt. Most job opening are not advertised. A lot of companies hire people when the company doesn't even have any openings. I remember one company that hired me. Even after they offered me a job they still didn't know what they were going to do with me. They figured that out later.

Headhunters often send people who are not qualified to interview for a job just to make it look like they are doing a good job.

low balling the requirement increases the application pool and having more options is always better for a person who's looking for a worker.
