It's human tendency to leave a task undone until the deadline causecwe think there's plenty of time left until there's not any.
Instead try to do a little bit everyday and reward yourself ( some food that you love, some show you wanna watch but only one episode or less) for completing that bit.
That's going to save you a lot of time, stress, anxiety automatically and utilise your remainder of time on anything else.
It's all about taking control of your mind and not the other way around. You, yourself have to push for it cause nobody else will.

I've grown to do less and less personally as I'm only attending college and not having a job right now. I can see what you mean as I've grown tired to just go out to buy groceries, cook something (mostly the same, that's another point) and eat and go to sleep aaaand the whole thing again the next day. And the next day. And the next day. It's draining in a way to see other people having gone through apprenticeships and meanwhile being married having kids and a life.
Sounds mean now, but I sometimes look at those not having come as far as me, like my ex who had gone through an apprenticeship, but had so much "fun" in her life, that meanwhile she caught an autoimmune disease and has to take care of whatever she does (in order not to get just any kind of sickness, it might kill her) for like the rest of her life, and she's not even hit her 30s.
I was always told
āYouāve only got yourself, thatās just you, make yourself so strong that you donāt have to depend on anyone but yourself, because you have no one to depend on.ā
That was good enough of a motivation for me. I know that I am by myself and the decisions I make will either make me stronger or weaker.
I canāt allow myself to be weak.
I'm a lazy one... so I do things I really like. That eliminates motivation problems.
About waking up... I use coffee in the morning :D helps a lot. But I developed a pure hatred for my alarm clock...
