    I've been through a lot. Because of everything I've been through, my mind began to struggle with slight insanity at the age of 12. If things get to be too painful for me, my mind begins to stop being able to process things. My memory stops working & so does my ability to comprehend sentences people say to me. I also begin to disassociate and stop feeling emotions. To me, the absence of feeling is the worst thing in the world, much worse than pain. So in order to keep my brain from shutting down or from losing the ability to feel at all, I have to constantly work on healing. The more I heal, grow, and feel happy, the more my brain works and I can feel. It's a long and gradual process though. Each step I do to better myself and my life, helps me to feel higher and higher levels of happiness and love. Feeling happiness and love heals my brain back to complete sanity. I've done a lot of healing, especially these past 2 years. A couple of months ago I learned how to keep my mind from shutting down. My next goal is learning how to make sure I don't dissociate or stop feeling.

    So making sure I'm okay emotionally and mentally is what keeps me constantly motivated to grow & heal.
