What you do to gain motivation?

I give myself mental self esteem boosts every time I do something I consider to be difficult or boring or hard
Like I read around 6000 pages of stuff I thought was boring cause it made me feel productive and I thought feeling productive would boost my self esteem and mental health
Think about the reward you will receive when you've accomplished your goal
Or think about how high your spiritual status will be if you achieve it
Or think about how important it is that you fulfill your duty
Or think about how this behaviour will affect your future life
Every time I get something published, I feel a little better. This gets boosted every time I get a lot of downloads/purchases/what-have-you. It's mitigated when some f*khead decides to not only lobby to get the item taken down, especially if for a stupid non-reason, but begins taunting and threatening. That makes me wanna start a war. Ignorant twats who feel a sense of moral superiority by destroying my path to success, simply because it gives them power, make my blood boil.
But when I hear someone say that my work taught them something valuable... that's more uplifting than a paycheck. Validation is sweet.
I set a long term why, not to impress anyone cause that someone might not be in my life in a year or so, the guy I’m trying to impress might ghost me in a couple of months.. those are all not reliable sources of motivation.. I think about how I want to be better than yesterday and how I want to achieve some things in life that will make me happier and a better person/partner/mother*hopefully*, so I put in the work and hope it’ll take me a shorter amount of time to get to the point where I’m content.

Nothing. So much so that I'm about to give up on my life. There's no point to it anymore. Not that there ever was one, but it's just getting a bit worse everyday.
What's the point though? Live long enough to simply die anyway?
@jeemm I agree with you that I haven't found the thing I enjoy. It's not because I haven't tried; I did try several times, however, all my life I've been told that the things I could possibly enjoy were not good enough or were dumb, or were simply a waste of time, so I was encouraged not to pursue them. So that's it. There's not even a point in trying to find something I enjoy because I'll be ridiculed and convinced to give up on it.
In that case your mindset about individualism and happiness is clouded by the opinions of others. What others think shouldn't and doesn't matter. Even if you feel like everyone hates you because of what you are or want to be, you shouldn't appreciate or agree with their negativity if you disagree with their opinions of yourself.
If you have people who think negatively of you, then you should distance yourself from them. They're only using your misfortune to feel better about themselves.
There is no motivation, only better planning.
Plan and do - it's how they get you to be a better soldier as well.
Look at where I am, look at where I've been and look at where I want to be.
Sports, learning new things, eating healthy, practising hobbies etc
By keep reminding myself the goal/purpose of what I'm doing and focus on it
Think about the pretty girl you want to have that will motivate you
Boredom I hate being bored. So I work and do shit
