I think "as much as" has to do with an amount that you want to do something or try to do something, so you might say something like "as much as I like to ride my bike through that forest" or "as much as I want to help-", but you can't really say "much as he studies hard he fails to pass the exams.". You'd have to rephrase it like "as much as he tries to study (or study hard), he still fails to pass the exams."
Could you write me a sentence including "much as "
"As much as I like playing with glue, I should probably stop before my hands get stuck together."
sample sentences: tough he studies hard he fails to pass the exams.
Here it means that he did everything right, what he should be doing still he failed.
sample sentences: much as he studies hard he fails to pass the exams.
Here it means he should not be doing this he should not be studying this hard because he did so that's why he failed.
What?
I say what too :) I have watched a video that teaching uses of "as" and I matched "much as" and "though" my mind. Because both of them come same mean in my native language
Thanks for the reply.
