What is something you never realized sold as much as it does?

One thing I like about my job is the people.

I don't care about the "Coupon Karens" who are picky about that kinda thing. I also don't like when people complain about the prices in front of me, although I say nothing.

I also never really realized that the checkout impulse items like candy and lip balm sold as well as it does. People usually always grab an impulse item. I will say Magazines don't sell well anymore.

Yes. I was at a 7-11 for two years on the graveyard shift at a college campus.
One afternoon I worked at a fair selling popcorn so, I had to deal with money there.
When I was 20/21 (I turned 21 11 days after I started), I worked at Cedar Point that summer at the games on the midway so, I was always handling money there.
A few years later a carnival came to my town and I worked there for a day or two at one of their games taking in money.
For several years, I worked delivering newspapers and had to go door to door to collect from the customers once a week.
I cut grass for several neighbors and collected money from them.
As a kid, I sold my grandmother's Easter and Christmas candy door to door and at school so, I dealt with collecting money there, too.

Yes, when I was a teen I worked as department supervisor at the front end of a large hardware store. Most people were pretty nice, but some customers became irate over small things, like price, availability, or return policies. The like talking all tough like one high school teenager can do anything about a large corporation’s prices and policies. That’s fine, I could deal with that. I hated the standing. Standing all day made me more sore than the odd time I worked the floor.

My pay check was the best part of that job.

Yes I've worked as a cashier/ sales associate in an automotive store.

No, I worked in the warehouse of a large department store. Much better - didn't have to dress for the sales floor, and had limited customer contact, just bringing large items to cars.

No, but I can see that being a cashier can be a tough situation.

My first job was a cashier at zaxbys
