Ideas for writing an article?

my teacher wants us to write an article about anything (free topic) and she told us it has to be unique , any ideas?

and any templates that works with the topic

I’m sure the idea is to think about it yourself

it’s a test of your imagination and how you can turn that into words, now is it a factual article or fiction. Write out various things you are interested in and then think what you could write for each, fiction gives you a better area to chose from.

Write about your own understanding what "unique" means to you :)

Back in school we had to take turns speaking about something of our own choice (task was to practice free speaking in English as 2nd language).
I then talked about how I had pondered over what topic I would choose.
At the end of it, my teacher commented: "Andreas has the talent of speaking 15 minutes - without saying anything"
It was a compliment :)
