Is a homeschool diploma valid?

i enrolled in homeschool at 16 as a sophomore and finished it this year at 18 i am curious my mother purchased a premade diploma online from a website it looks exactly like a state issued one except it featured home school at the top instead of a public school name i am curious is this valid in kentucky cause i didn't do any standardized testing i had my own curriculum and my state says i dont require any standardized testing so once i get this after i finish my last year of homeschool is this as valid as a normal high school diploma such as military, college, etc

It is not valid unless it came from a school that is authorized, such as Abeka. My husband and I were both homeschooled. He has a valid highschool diploma from his school. I used a different organization that didn't do that, so I had to get a GED.

If it was bought off the shelf from anywhere, I do not think it would be valid at all. After alll, you could construct a PhD certificate at home, that would have no validity in any way.

I do not know what the rules in Kentucky is. The state I live in requires a standardized test to determine wheyer you graduated or not. I doubt colleges would take a diploma your mom bought on line as proof of graduation.

High school diplomas rarely matter. They aren't necessary to enter college or to get most jobs.
