Well before you begin any negotiation make sure you are negotiating with facts and from a position of strength. For example it may be wise to have a plan B job ready to go... if they insult your intelligence during a negotiation just hand em your resignation and walk. They do not appreciate you anyway.

You can look at inflation and increase min wage, do a math and calculate how much you have to increase keep affordable life. Request generally every 18 months or so and always include negotiation. Good luck
