While looking for a job is it better to apply online or go in person?

There's pros and cons to both man. Applying online is convenient cause you don't have to leave the house, but going in person can show more initiative and help you stand out.

I'd say start by looking online to see what's out there and apply to a few spots that way. But definitely try stopping by places that look cool or your friends have mentioned. You never know, they may have just filled a spot online but see you and want to do an on the spot interview.

When you go in, dress nice, be polite to employees, and ask to fill out an application or talk to a manager. Bring some printed copies of your resume too so you're prepared. You can mention how you were in the area and thought you'd check if they were hiring on the spot.

A lot of times employers like seeing that extra effort to come meet them face to face. It shows more motivation than just clicking submit on a form. And who knows, maybe you'll get the manager when they're in a good mood and they like your style.

I'd say mix it up - do both online apps and some pop ins. Can't hurt to try every angle, you know? Good luck dude, hope you find something rad soon!
