The Heat Index in Baton Rouge and Ponchatoula Louisiana is already 113F to 114F and it's only 9:35 in the morning. This is ABSURD because this is not even close to the hottest week of the year (usually). If this AGW keeps happening, people are going to start dying from heat stroke like flies.

You know it! You combine that heat, with the humidity, the rising seas, and then throw in swamp creatures, prehistoric insects, & all sorts of creepy crawlers— you quickly realize that Louisiana (&/or Florida) will be hazardous to everyone’s health & uninhabitable (and take center stage as the country’s biggest HELLHOLE, within a few decades.)

Yeah, I know. The global average temperature is rising by about 0.1F per decade now, and Louisiana is rising about 10 times faster than the global average for some reason, and I'm not even exaggerating.

Tell me about it, and yet they are still some ignorant people claiming it to be a conspiracy theory. All across the world year on year heat records are tumbling, and it is happening at a alarming rate, far worse then the scientists predicted.

It's been happening every ±20,000 years for the past 250,000 years at least (we don't have ice cores that go back any further than that). It's just a coincidence that we happen to be living through it now, and it hasn't even been going on for a long enough period of time to determine whether it's an actual change or just weather anomalies that are inconvenient for us.

We’ve been tracking this stuff before Industrial Revolution really kicked off into high gear, it is crystal clear it is manmade. Same with plastic getting into the fish, lead in the water, destruction of our Earth via deforestation & bringing animals to the point of extinction. Clearly humanity is to blame.

The Heat Index made it to 121F for Ponchatoula, Louisiana today and it might not have maxed out yet. That's enough to cause a heat stroke if you try to work outside for prolonged time.

When I was in high school, the Detroit Tigers had a right-handed pitcher named Earl Wilson (b. Oct.2,1934, d. Apr.23,2005, age 70) who hailed from Ponchatoula, La. Wilson won 121 MLB games from 1959-1970 and on June 26,1962 as a member of the Boston Red Sox, became the American League's first black no-hit pitcher AND homered in the game against the original Los Angeles Angels, whose left-handed starter, Robert "Bo" Belinsky, had pitched a no-hitter May 5,1962.
