Let's be honest - this website isn't the best place to practice English, and I'm assuming you're learning American English (and not British English).

To learn the grammatical rules, sentence structures, negations, etc, the best place is to learn it in an educational setting. But, to practice it in real life, anywhere outside the educational establishment is reasonable. so I earnestly applaud you for trying.

My advice would be to not use people's replies as examples of how to formulate sentences or to use them in actual conversations grammatically. It is a good place to perhaps pick up some local slang and to see how to converse more colloquially. Just type and type and type :)

Just practice, start with the basics. The most important thing is to be able to write things clearly, so everyone can understand. It is not needed to go all fancy - just say it as it is.

I would suggest making the above very clear then. Honestly, I don't think this is the best place to look for a 1-1 language partner, it seems a little weird.

This forum is a place to ask for advice related to dating and relationships etc. and not the most appropriate place to look for a 1-1 partner to practice speaking English with. I'm not saying there are not people who are not willing though.

GaG is not really the site where you want to learn the basics of English language simply because a great number of people here don't master the language themselves.

If you are okay with onomatopoeia, with abbreviations, slang, cursing, swearing or erroneous grammar, then yes, go ahead and try your luck on this site. But if your ultimate intention is to learn proper English as spoken in England and not the US slang, then I would suggest that you invest in an English language course that will teach your the rudiments of that language.

Best not to place too much hope on learning proper English on GaG. You would be disappointed.
