How much money in your bank account would make you feel secure about your financial future?

There is never enough. But it should be diversified in various areas including income generating real estate. Wealthy people are cash poor. I’d you don’t know where to invest in …. Just put it in BRK. A or BRK. B You can’t go wrong with the legend of value investing.

If I was to win a few million in the lottery, I would buy myself a small 2 bedroom house with garden and my own furniture. I would stick £1 million in a bank account, that's enough to live off for the rest of my life.

I really don't need a lot to be happy; I am not unhappy now, though I would like to have somewhat bigger living space. My 1-bedroom flat is really a little bit too small.

@IslaTheWitch Well naturally it varies from people to people and their situation. Usually people keep liquid assets segregated in a few accounts like an emergency, fun, travel, kids education... through a generic service like Schwab or Fidelity etc. Sure I also invest my income. .
