I am very satisfied with my profession. I'm a lighting and scenic designer for live events and theatre. I've designed world premiers of plays, a presidential campaign launch, political party conventions, multimillion dollar fundraising campaign launches, and countless other galas and corporate events and I make good money doing it.

Yes, I love coding and building things. Do I want to do it every day? No, I am going to have days where I don't want to do it, but it's something I enjoy, so it helps get through the say easier.

I'm quasi-retired. I spend the time I would be working trading stocks. So if you want to call that my "profession" then yeah, most days i'm satisfied with it. The only drawback is you're probably not going to lose money some days at a 9 to 5 job.
