Which OPTION would you choose?

In this YouTube short video, the instructor of a college class gives his students two options for a midterm assignment:

* do a 15-second dance, or

* write a 15 thousand word paper on a very technical topic

What do you think most of the students choose?

Yes, this very well could be a setup... just to make a video. But it's fun anyway.

I would choose the paper. If I danced, it would still need to be be scored relative to those of other students, and I doubt I would have the chops to distinguish myself. A 15-second thoughtless chicken dance just doesn't cut it, folks.

Simply by being one of the few students to choose the paper, I would have a singular opportunity to showcase my skills and knowledge gained from the class, to the delight of my professor. And it's much easier to earn a high grade by writing a high-quality paper.

@Dongie Lol. It wouldn't be a chore for me at all bc I love dancing and will pretty much do it anywhere, anytime. Once, when I lived in South American, I was at a bus stop and was just really happy about something and kind of did a little jig. One of the local Indigenous ladies stepped out and started doing it with me. So, I took her hand and we danced. Pretty soon, the entire group of people waiting for the bus were dancing! It was awesome.

That's pretty cool. 2 years ago, my engine went out on my car. So, I caught a ride to work. The next morning, I found no ride, so I walked home in the rain. I heard a train and ran to beat it but didn't. That train was 10 miles long. As cars stacked up with me looking a fool, I remembered it was my 60th birthday.
