Is a silent follower just as guilty if someone gets falsely framed and you know it's not true?

My 3 friends falsely framed someone for stealing. I didn't went against them but didn't accuse either. I just said nothing. This is the 2nd time I've seen something unfair happening but I never say anything out of fear of then either getting bullied myself or becoming their target.

Standing up for what's right sometimes can be hard and risky after all.

I completely get it. A lot of people will say it's in poor taste to not say anything, but it's also not your legal obligation to do anything either. I don't like saying someone is "guilty" because it's like I'm passing judgment on them. Instead, I'd just recommend that you work on some confidence building so that next time you won't be afraid to speak up

One got suspended for ''stealing'' and the other got labeled as a creep for ''groping some girl'' but it isn't true.
