Does it matter what time I clock in, and clock out for community service even though im working a full shift?

I've been court ordered to work at good will for 40 hours. When I was filling out papers I said I can start at 2 and go at 5. I've been leaving close to 20 mins before 5 because I get there like 20 mins before 2. I work 3 hours a day, because that's the time I said I'd work each day. Well now im getting worried because my mom said that im supposed to get there at exactly 2 and clock out at exactly 5, and now im freaking out because I'm afraid they won't count my hours, but I dont really see how it'd be too big of a deal because I'm still working 3 hour shifts like I'm supposed to.
