Most service industry jobs, hotels, restaurants, health care need a body on site. Executives are finding that on site workers in general are far more productive than remote and so are feeling push back. It's more likely if you are salaried rather than hourly. With a conservative administration you will see business getting there way far more often than workers.

On the other hand, if you can work and commute to office- or at least start that way- the job market is great.
