Do you think mbti has relevance to intelligence of a person?

Assuming smart to equal IQ? INTP! One, because it is my own. Two, because it is the one that keeps scoring highest in the majority of tests.

So. There is a lot of research on this. And I will spare you the long of it. The answer is not conclusive. Every group has geniuses and every group has tools so blunt you can use them as a mirror.

That said. INTP scores first in roughly half the tests. Outperforming all the other groups.

The runner ups are, 2nd place INTJ. Constantly high performing, INTPs less friendly sibling that will call you an idiot instead of calling you interesting.

ISTJ is a normal third place. A standout among the S types. Third out of sixteen is nothing to be ashamed of at all.

End of the day, you believing that IQ is something to be nurtured is going to be a more clear indication of your IQ than your MBTI. I do find MBTI's recent-ish surge into the dating sphere interesting though. Convenient that I don't need to tell people I love to argue with them to engage in some abstract games rather than it being about winning an argument.

Why would think a genius would be pigeon holed into one personality type? Clearly geniuses have complex minds, not simplistic ones and are able to leverage different skills for different situations and connect ideas and ways of thinking in creative ways. Raven's Progressive Matrices puts my IQ at 158. When I have taken those personality tests in the past, I've had varying results. The most common outcomes are INTJ, INTP, and ENTJ, but if you look at the artistic and mechanical characteristics of ISTP and ISFP for example I fit right in as well, even though I'd never fall in those categories based on standard questioning.
