What was your first ever job?

I did help out in a hotel at a weekend till it got sold.

I'm helping out/demonstrating at a fitness and health day soon so that should be fun

I was 16 and I got a job at a Casino restaurant I was a dishwasher.. I wanted a car so bad I lied and said I was 17
. For a month I washed dishes. Then moved up to busboy.. and could have moved up to waiter . But I moved out of my mom's house because of Of issues with her new husband. Finished school

Then went to work 41 of my friends dad doing petroleum Maintenance engineering

I started out sweeping floors sending packages Do we pick up the deliveries
Then moved up to the construction
And then moved up to service
And went back and forth from two different companies For twenty seven years

When I thought I deserve a raise. And they wouldn't give me one I would go over to the other Petroleum maintenance business, they hired me.
And We're very good to me but in time when i've wanted to raise And they couldn't do it

I will go back to where I started they would give me what I was being paid at the time plus a raise. In this company too was also good to me. He always treated me right. Treated me fair and gave me raises. But.
There were moments in time where I got more responsibilities and I wanted more money. If they couldn't do it. I would go back to the other company

They would tell me what I was getting paid and a raise on top of it

I went back and forth for 27 years.

Dunkin Donuts when I was 20-21. That was my first official on the books job. I had done other work when I was younger.

I was pet and or house sitting, mowing lawns and washing cars to save for things starting at 7-8 years old. I was the responsible old soul type.
First thoughtlessly offered job was the worst. That was at age 16. I was too nice to refuse. The man in the pet store knew I loved rodents so he wanted me to care for their feeder mice. Horrific thing to ask of someone who loves them. It only lasted two weeks as he didn't put me in the books and he said his lawyer told him to cut me. The guy was horrible to employees yelling in front of customers. He ended up committing suicide months later. Traumatic all around.
