lol on the AI MBA! I'm curious if he had to take out any loans :)
I graduated college eons ago. It felt right at the time to do so - and I needed to mature which I think it helped me do - and in a weird way it got me in a good starting point direction for how my career unfolded - but... not sure I'd do it again :)

I went to 2 trade colleges. One for automechanics and one for electrician. I graduated from both of them. I'm now a master mechanic and master electrician but I don't work on cars anymore

@exitseven that was a very smart move. I've seen so many fires beginning because of speed wiring.

@exitseven at least you corrected your mistake and did it the correct way

@exitseven it's a nice shed too. I'd get rid of those pine trees behind it. Wouldn't want them to come down on top of it

Bachelors degree but I took a few graduate classes as well. I was taken off the graduate school list cause I had difficulty adjusting to the expectations of graduate school. I might redo graduate school again but in a different subject.

I did some college and my job offered to pay for my nursing program, after I was promoted twice.
But some things happened that threw me off... I'll go back for my nursing degree though.

@7Phoenix7 - Though I am above average IQ, I don't think piano has major correlation with IQ tbh. Anyone could become proficient at it if they play it for long enough. I've been playing for 10years & I ain't even that good so that shows my limits 🧎♂️

LOL I am 62. I gave it up half a life ago. No, I am not going to start over - especially given the price of tuition, my age, and that I have so much more that I want to do with what little time I have left. A PhD would not do anything for me career-wise, but it would be me more in debt.

Good job, well done. I left high school a year earlier than I had to because I got the grades to get in. Was it wise? Not really I was generally 2 years younger than a lot of the others in my intake but the work wasn't all that hard, my maturity meant I spent a lot of it puking up Guinness and cheap lager while eating glass tumblers for laughs.

There's a difference between training and education.

I'm starting to suspect that being a genius is the opposite of being educated.

I agree some of the people accepted into university is honestly scary. There are smart successful people as well who never got a post secondary education.
Some degrees are also a waste of time and effort they would have been better off never getting. Obviously if you’re going to be a teacher. Lawyer. Doctor. Etc. Yoi need to go to university.
Also a degree in anything can and does
help someone get jobs but at the same time. Many people can get those
Same jobs spending as much time getting work experience as they did in university
Now having to get work experience. As well as the increased pay but also having mountains of debt to pay off - 1 mo
@Summeroflove this is about as accurate as it gets

Thanks. I think the value of a person goes beyond a degree anyways. People who think they’re better because they went to collage are many times probably compensating for something
Master of a science.
