He says over 90% of the ads about you being able to run your own business are pure scams and a horrendous waste of money.

If owning a business was easy, everybody would be doing it is also something you might say to that.

My cousin was a Wall Street banker and she had to work over 14 hour days for over 4 years and over 12 hours a day for over 6 years to build her business. And she could get high 90s at the University of Pennsylvania while studying less than 2 hours a day but she had to work like crazy to build her business.

And it's not just about being academically intelligent, you also need to be popular and have good social skills, which also takes a life time to learn.

Exactly id say as someone in business you'll do more work for less money so either you are already wealthy so do it as a hobby or you have no other option (I obviously fall into the latter)
