If you had the option to work from home, would you want it, or do you like going onto the worksite?

I realize not every job has a work from home option, and yours may not even be capable of it, but if you had a job that had it as an option, would you take it? On one hand, you could work in your pjs like I do (lmao), but on the other, you miss out on being around others.

I worked from home for a few years after covid but am now back at the office. I sometimes miss it, but I feel I'm more productive at the office. Less distractions in my opinion

And that's fair. I feel like I can still get my work done on time but still enjoy listening to or watching YouTube or surfing on my phone. My adhd brain needs multiple sources of stimulation to function, which I can't do in office.

I was getting everything done too. But I was def doing like you said, having things going in the background. I was also sneaking porn in too and getting paid to get off a lot which is frowned upon in the office LOL

Lol, I guess there are those of us who don't. I'd be too afraid of doing it anyway with a camera on my laptop. Sure, I could cover it, but I'm still paranoid about being seen. Besides, what if I got into it and then got a message or a ticket to work and had to stop midway through lol

haha that makes sense. My camera was always off unless I answered a video call. I would often edge myself so it really wasn't a big deal if I had to do something work related for a little bit and take a break. I worried more about family members coming home early and catching me working with no pants on lol

I've always preferred going to a work site. I don't get the same urge to do work stuff outside of it and I've always liked socializing at work. Until I bought a house. Really wished I chose a career with remote work options after that but retirement is just as good lol.
