Well if its driving I do not mean to offend but you are already a bit old to be starting out... still you never know. Be prepared to spend a lot of money. You need to have the best equipment. When I raced Karts it was frustrating to have to compete with families that would change tires for every session for example. Ability is important but you also need the right people around you too. Try to find a mentor... and a sponsor. Begin to promote yourself early. Its a business. As you progress there are competitive driving courses you will have to complete. Its a long tough expensive road.
