Studying psychology or nursing. Which one would u choose?

Depends on what you're passionate about.

I absolutely love both nursing and psychology. And both options have plenty of opportunities and routes to explore.

Nursing focuses more on physical health and the body, unless you go the psychiatric route.

Psychology focuses more on the mind, emotions, and behavior.

Also one thing to think about, is you can get an associate degree in nursing and still make money. Then you can go up from there... bachelor's, masters... etc.

With psychology you definitely need a masters degree, and then you definitely want to go ahead and get your PhD.

I actually want to study about neuropsychology but in my country, it basically does not have any space. Thats why i am thinking about nursing just because it is a guaranteed job;(

I would go the psychology route. Though you need a Masters degree to get really good jobs and then if you want to get paid a lot of money a PhD would be even better, I think it's more intriguing studying the mind. I've always found psychology fascinating and I even took classes in college for it.

I think part of the reason I'm on this site is helping people with what I've learned from experience and from my background in psychology even though it wasn't a lot, I feel like I have a bit of knowledge. Of course, I would never say I'm certified in it but I think from what I did learn, I find myself using it to a certain extent on certain questions on here.

My sister went the psychology route and is graduating with her master’s degree Friday. There are a lot of options that route.

I just started this year for biology. My goal is PA when I am finally done. I like the subject but my options are limited to basically physician assistant whereas my sister can get in many fields.

But in my country, it is the opposite. Nurses can find job quickly however psychologists are mostly jobless here.

I'm more into psychology and am doing degree in psychology. I work with nurses currently and Meh.. not my thing. Wounds look so gross. But respect for those that do do it.

I live in Turkey an in here, job offers are extremely limited in psychology. Most of the psychology students will be jobless. Thats why i am actually concerned

Yh psychology is not common here either for job openings. But if it's a choice of interest then I'd pick psychology. I can't pick nursing as I have no interest in it, no matter how many more jobs there may be in it.
