I hate living in Scotland because it’s dark, overcast and rainy all the time should I try applying for a working holiday in Australia?

I visited Scotland a few years ago. Spent 10 days touring Scotland, making an ant-clockwise circle from Edinburgh to Highlands to Inverness to Oban to Sterling and back to Edinburgh. It only rained one day, and that was only part of the day. It was cloudy some days, but most of the time it was partly sunny. It was one of the most enjoyable trips I've ever taken.
