Have you faked a phone referee for a job?

I have a phone referee from my previous role.

The current company I am with now probably won't give me a good one.

I clash with my boss a lot due to one girl being away so many times, that I have to do her work plus mine.

I spoke up about it and my boss doesn't like what I have to say and HR pushes it under the rug.

Have you changed your voice to make up your own reference?

I've asked my friends to but they don't want to do it for me.

What have you done to get a fake referee? I don't want them to find out I faked it.

I have never had to fake a referee so I can't advise on faking. I think it could be hard to do in away that doesn't sound fake to someone.
