I am a nurse. Within my field, I am very well aware of a lot of very mean girls who chose to become nurses. In a field were compassion and empathy is so required, I just have no idea how mean people will find any sort of fulfillment in this type of work. Just today, I spoke to an acquaintance who is a firefighter. I just discovered he is an indecent person, corrupt, lacks ethics and morals. He also told me that bullying is very common in firehouses. I just have no idea why these people chose the work they do. Is it because they just needed a good paying job?
