I wanted to be an astronaut. The Mercury Astronauts were my heroes when I was growing up. It was a big deal for me to actually sit in Jon Glenn's Friendship 7 space capsule at he Smithsonian.
It was not just a little kids dream either. I Joined Air Force ROTC and wanted to be a pilot and maybe someday getting into NASA.

I have been working on little projects that really relax me. One of these is a book nook of an old alley in Japan. I think in retrospect, I would have loved to be a museum curator. So interesting and so rewarding.
