Could’ be a lot of reasons , to name a few , basically not liking the area you are living in , or moving for love , or moving to be closer to family etc. By having a successful business, I would only move , if i had someone that I could trust to run it and keep things going while I try to expand my business elsewhere , to wherever I move to , then I could come visit my first business , from time to time to check on it , and to make sure things are ok. I wouldn’t move , if I didn’t have someone else I could trust to run it
Well, at least you are thinking positively. More than one business is looking ahead.
I have done so and moved to another country when I was about 24. It wasn't an easy decision, but one I felt nonetheless 100% confident about. This move influenced my career choices and relationships.
Language studies and a desire to broaden my horizons were the main causes.
Whay about you?

Running a business somewhere tends to bring up local clients and builds a local following (depending on the business of course) so moving would be risky but if it's expanding then sure it shouldn't be an issue.
For me, I am about to move to another country, it's about a more suitable opportunity and since it's much the same job, I will not be out of my comfort zone too long.
If i had a successful business the only thing that would cause me to move is the environment. Move a little further from all the other distractions and live in a place more open and free
That is a pretty good reason.
What area do you consider open and free? South Dakota?
Im not from the US so i dont know the geography of it all too well. I know its the better Dakota as the north is empty and has harsher winters. But free doesn't have to be in a political sense as im sure that state is governed differently then say New York, California and Texas. What I mean by open and free is more to do with Land size and bi-laws with in a district. For someone like me if i had my own successful business. I would more out to the country side. Live in a house that i could afford to my own accord. Live in a smaller community where people know each other and are live life day by day not living just to survive. Having land to grow and raise your own produce as the food we eat is mass produced and that goes in your system. Escape the big city problems and enjoy what the world has to offer. Sure it has it draw backs but free is living for yourself and not for others. Im sure the United States has a lot of areas in each state where people live as such.
Sometimes you don't have a choice. Market changes, tariffs, taxes, ANC government wants 30% ownership because you're White and they're racist, pretty much anything...
Depends on what type of business I would have. Some businesses just don’t fit everywhere.
As for reasons. Taxes, competition, better work conditions and availability of work force. Also closer to your suppliers of goods and materials.
The BS in California would definitely make me move out of that state.
Just having gruesome Newsome is reason enough. 😫💩💩
Michigan sucks, a lot of bad areas in metro Detroit. Cost of living is ridiculous high. Everyone here is depressed
Nothing..
I would not like to take a risk just for location
I dont think i would move at all but I'd definitely change my marketing strategy
How so?
crime in neighborhood, etc.
Trump
More money.
