Would you move or stay?

Say you moved in your new place and hasn't been a week yet. The neighbors TV is blasting extremly overlly obsessively loud through the day and night. Would you break your lease and move? Or stay?

No I would kindly knock on their door and inform them and ask them nicely to please turn down their tv. They may be unaware of how much their tv goes through the walls

That's what I wanted to do but my mom says what if they knock me out because of it and I'm starting something by calling the cops and going to their door

@asker communicating out problems doesn’t give reason for someone to knock you out. Tell your mom to grow up and communicate
