I quit reading my favorite 'serial killer author, because his writing became seedier and seedier. Have you done the same?

My favorite author has stooped to cater to the bottom feeders, in my view. and I often wonder why? He is a talented writer and did not need to do that, The language in his books has become more crude over the years and I dropped him for that reason

Anyone have the same experience.

I avoid crime thriller a lot in general so I can’t say I’ve had the same experience. But if they’re anything like the guy I used to read, it’s more likely they got rich enough to hire a ghost writer and that’s why the writing style changed.

I was reading Eric Rudolf's manifesto online. It was cool but I didn't finish it. I'll have to go back and finish thinking about it. Ted Kaczynski is pretty dry reading but popular with many.

@DonaldDarko I stopped reading Rand's Atlas Shrugged... for the same reason. After reading "who is John Gault' 100 times, I just gave up.

Yeah, after reading a couple of Richard Bachmann I quit when it was just S. King. He's to weird for me.

Yup. I did the same with Divergent series of Veronica Roth. Insurgence and Allegience was the worst!
