In school when they had science fair projects did you ever win?

I was never a science person so I never really had any good projects. Tell me about yours. I'd love to hear about them!!

I did actually one year. We live really close to the beach. Knowing that we had a science fair every year, I started the summer before measuring the erosion on the beach over the course of a summer and fall.

I’d measure every day from the tree line to waters edge. Being a Great Lake, we don’t have tides. The level varies year to year but not throughout the year that much.

So beach erosion is from currents. Then my dad helped me make a model explaining how the state park’s breakwaters help slow that and how it could be done on a smaller scale for personal property bordering the water.

No. I hated those projects. Glad they don’t do that in my school anymore. Socially when they want K-2 kids do these。 the parents ended doing them. Who won? The parents?

It wasn't a science fair but for physics class I made a bicycle pedal system spin a home made alternator and it lite a string of Christmas lights. I don't know I won because it wasn't that kind of thing. but I for sure amazed everyone more then anyone else. I won if you ask me.

I don’t remember having science fairs in skool. Either we didn’t have them, or i wasn’t invited to participate. I would have liked to though! I probably would have done something with bugs.
