Are woman more dedicated to work than men?

It's actually a good question. I've worked with a LOT of women and yes, on average, in my experience, they were more dedicated and driven when it came to the job but for a lot of them, it was for the wrong reason. I work in a predominantly male occupation and the women, while driven and very hard working, were too concerned about "proving" themselves than they were about learning in a very controlled and managed working environment. It can create problems but the woman that did succeed, are amazing to work with.

From what I have seen, the dedicated men are more dedicated to their work than most women, but there are also plenty of men that hide at work and sometimes put in more effort to avoid doing their job than it would have taken to just do the work they were paid for in the first place.

It depends on the person, not the gender.

Some women are highly dedicated, some men are same as any group. Differences people notice usually come from social expectations, opportunities, or circumstances rather than innate traits.

Dedication comes from drive, goals, and mindset, not gender.
