So far 2026 looks like more job loss than job gains which means money leaving economy , less investment , and more pressure on Gov't resources.

Not in the United Disaster Of America. tRump's trash economy is just now starting to feel the effects of his tariff trade war strategy. It has taken a year for existing inventories to deplete and the fallout from trade wars to start kicking in. Major employers are starting massive layoffs in anticipation of a major decline in consumer spending. Inflation is killing housing and the auto sectors. US debt markets are tanking. Stocks will follow. Our trading partners have walked away and found new trading partners. Canada just jacked up the cost of electricity they sell to the US by 25%. The US has no replacement for those terawatts of generation capacity. The United States Of Stupidity are headed into a deep recession that could become a depression. Is everyone tired of all the "Winning" yet?

Correct most of the Tariffs have not really kicked in yet. Businesses under pressure by Trump ate a lot of those expenses and they can't do that much longer without severe damage to their companies.

There won't be any growth. The jobs numbers keep getting revised down significantly. The jobs numbers and CPI data that the government releases have been so unreliable that they don't even move the markets anymore. 2025 saw the US fall behind China in production and showed they can't compete with them. There's nothing to suggest that 2026 will be any better as the world shifted to China as a more reliable trading partner.

The latest jobs number was twice what was predicted and 33K construction jobs were created. This is a leading indicator for permanent jobs. The numbers were good despite losing 46K government jobs.
I think 2026 will be much better.
