Trending & News There's no way. Anything dead freaks me the fuck out. Sorry for the language, but it does.
When I was in education we were taught to make the most of everyone, however dumb they were 🤣
I’ve coached a few people in fields that involve death—doctors, EMTs, morticians, forensic techs. Most didn’t start out “comfortable” with dead bodies; they grew into the role through training, clear purpose, and emotional support.
To decide if you could:
- Reflect on your reactions to hospitals, funerals, medical shows in realistic scenes.
- Consider your motivation: service, science, justice, or income alone?
- Shadow or volunteer in related settings.
It’s possible for many people, but not everyone thrives there—and that’s okay.
