Where would you be if you hadn’t followed your dream?

well... I would be right where I am, as of now, lol
once I had a dream of becoming an architect/engineer/builder... of bridges mostly, but anything else would have been fine as well
when I had the chance, I just didn't go for it... it would have implied for me, 18 year old me at the time... to move out and pretty much live on my own at a different state, or even a different country
the reason why I, ultimately... didn't go, was because I didn't feel ready to be on my own, and I didn't feel sure enough that I could handle something like that... and when I say this, I do refer to my own psique
I had just come out from an early childhood/mid-teens sort of "life crisis" lmao... I had been working for almost a decade, to reach a point in which I was mostly okay with most things and on my own too but... at age 18 and going 20's, I was still somewhat vulnerable to a few things...
so, my dreams... were a bit too close with my nightmares and I decided not to risk it
instead of taking off, on my own... and making it about "me vs the world + every messed up problem in my head" I just decided to stay put... with my close best friends and my family as well
nowadays, I am much more happier, this way... with my own business and stuff
@Nikki1989 Probably be back in Akron, Ohio, workings some shit job and dying of cancer or heart disease. I had enough foresight to get out and move here to CA
@Nikki1989 Thanks for the MHO!
I didn’t follow my childhood dream …. to be an artist..
I did follow my second dream, which is my current career..
But if I didn’t do that.. maybe I would’ve been in pharmacy, interior or graphic designer, DJ, boba shop or coffeeshop owner… 😀
I didn’t follow my dreams..
I would’ve been an artist (a painter) if I had followed my dreams..

In my case, it was knowing what for sure what I DIDN'T want, which was kids and a 9-5 job. I made sure neither of those happened. It involved ending a relationship with someone who wanted that, but I have no regrets whatsoever.
Here as a school teacher. But I’ll be done soon then go do my dream job … some kind of business
Where I'd be: stuck in some middle class normality, and slave to the "system".
Instead, I followed chance.
I didn't follow my dream... If I would of I'd be a starving artist... Or maybe a famous rock and roll star! Lol
Oh my I would be really miserable and possibly severely depressed.
Thank god you had the guts to follow your dreams
