Pretty good actually. Geography and history are closely intertwined, Both are pretty easy to absorb as neither one changes much over time. And both are very integral to the development of human civilization, economics, technology, wars, religions, and national identity. Fun stuff.

For a current example of geography affecting human affairs take a look at the role of the Straight of Hormuz's impact on a war in progress and the the global oil supply with it's resulting impact on the global economy. A small chunk of land jutting out into a busy waterway is having a huge impact on human affairs.

Yes, I liked it. We did a group project, converting a 2 dimensional map into 3D using the lines on the maps with the height. I think it was in steps of 10 meters. We transfered the contours on white cardboard and glued the pieces together.

Since school I’ve gotten very good at because without the grades I found out I like it very much
