A male teacher in H. S. once told me... "you have a good brain, you just don't use it". That really struck me and changed my life. I didn't think I had a good brain and I wasn't using it. I was like a lot of people, messed up, afraid, and living in fear. It took years to figure out I was capable of so much more.

What did your teacher say that encouraged you?

My boss was creating a chaotic, toxic environment toward his customers like he usually does. He plays favorites, tells everyone that I am his favorite while other employees basically are not to be trusted.

He lies to customers about vehicle parts installations, overcharges them for things that aren't even available, etc etc. My co-worker has basically the same experience in auto parts and is about the same age or older and he's been telling me this.

My boss always likes to yell and cuss at customers, telling them he knows more than them, etc etc. I was going to work till 4pm today, but instead I clocked out at 2pm.

I told my case manager, my job coach, and my therapist each from different agencies about this whole situation; each answered with a different perspective. However, my therapist was the one who barely understood what I was going through.

I had to explain to my job coach and my therapist that my boss doesn't care what time you clock in or out, as long as you don't go past 5 hours in one row (statewide lunch break policy).

My therapist was still on that huurr-duurr "What could you have handle better?" "This would be unacceptable if done every day" sort of mentality. And a literal f**king capitalist at that.

I want to f**king quit my g*d**n job.

I found out that I was making $5 less than entry level employees with no experience. When I brought this to the attention of my boss I asked for a salary adjustment. She told me that raises are tied to performance reviews and that it would likely have to wait. I waited about 1.5 months and made no issue. I then apparently was skipped for my performance review. When I asked my boss she gave me my performance numbers in an email.

Now, my numbers are admittedly slightly below average. I was new to the industry and do struggle in the job at times. I am also given compliments about how good of a job I do by her and coworkers. Basically I am ok to good at my job.

I know it is kind of silly expecting a raise with below average numbers but at the same time entry level workers with no experience are coming into the job and making $5 more. I truly believe I deserve to get a salary adjustment.

A. How would you feel in this situation.
B. How should I handle this/ what should I say.
C. Am I in the wrong?

I have been out of a job ever since Covid had started eventually I will be hopefully getting back in searching for jobs. Truthfully I want to have financial independence from my family, I am a 23 year old man who still live with his parents. There isn't nothing wrong with my family, they always do help me out, but I also find it extremely hard to live with them. My family is sometimes super annoying to live with but that isn't only it, I have always wanted to control literally everything in my life. So I think still being dependent on my parents and older sister isn't technically helping me feel more independent, I some day want to save up for my own place. But I wonder to achieve such a dream, I wonder which one is a much better route to take.

If you are working or also currently looking for work which one would you prefer to do, would you do two decent part time jobs or just do one decent full time job?

I will make more money at 65(if I live) . Social Security (if still there), and online sells (which should increase) If economy doesn't collapse. Plus Silver should get to $200 an ounce , which I would sell. Plus I could sell my business and work somewhere part time.

Most people make less after 65.

I probably would have my own grocery store considering everyone needs groceries but how about you men and women, which business would you rather have?
