It’s true that Pokemon Go becomes better and better as time goes by…but not enough. I would do more if it depended on me.
1) Being able to sell your items
Getting Potions and Revives isn’t hard, but how many of them we actually need? Wouldn’t it be nice if we could sell them and get coins so we can buy more useful items, like Egg Incubators or Lucky Eggs?
It would be like:
Potion = 1 Coin
Super Potion = 2 Coins
Hyper Potion = 5 Coins
Max Potion = 10 Coins
Revive = 5 Coins
Max Revive = 10 Coins
And let’s not forget the Evolution Items. For example you got an Up-Grade, and you evolved your Porygon. Now you got the Up-Grade for the second time. It’s useless now isn’t it? So why discard it instead of selling it? I would say, 50 coins per Evolution Item would be a good price.
2) Discard the Pikachu Fan, Youngster and Fisherman badges
Seriously, those badges are not needed and are really hard to reach. Rattata is slightly easier, even if you need XS Rattata specifically, because it’s one of the most common Pokemon. Magikarp are common only in seaside areas and Pikachu are fairly uncommon. If you needed 200 Pokemon to make the Badge of each category Gold, it would be fine. But you need 300, and this takes years if you play fair and square.
3) Discard the “Pokemon assigned” limit
The limit is 10 Pokemon assigned per day. I mean, you can have more Pokemon assigned in gyms, but when the time comes to cash in, you are only limited up to 10 Pokemon. Why? In my opinion it should be unlimited, because it takes effort to conquer gyms. Why should I receive the same reward when I have 15 Pokemon assigned with someone else who has 10?
4) Give a special reward to people who have their Pokedex complete
Gotta catch ‘em all! wasn’t the original motto? So if in case you have completed the Pokedex of each region, you should be given some special reward, and I don’t mean an in-game reward of course. But something more. Like give you as a reward, one of the original Pokemon Games in its box. Or some big Pokemon plush toy. Of course you must prove first that you got all Pokemon, fair and square. But anyway, it’s too early for that, because legendary Pokemon are not available yet.
5) Have the ability to change Team
I mean, why should we stick to the same team forever? We need a change. Like, once we reach Level 35 to be able to change team. Then have this choice for Levels 36, 37, 38, 39 and 40!
6) Have the ability to change your Trainer name more than once
Like, once every year? I changed mine already, but now I don’t like my current one anymore as well, but I don’t want to start from the scratch, because I’ve gone too far with this one.
7) Leaderboards
Let’s be honest here. We all love the glory ain’t we? So it would be nice to see where do we stand in our city, country, continent and in the world in general.
8. Make a Dragon (Dratini) event
You know that there are only four Dragon Pokemon available. Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite and Kingdra. Kingdra is almost impossible to be found out in the wild, and the only way is to evolve your Seadra by using a Dragon Scale, which is also hard to be found as an item. So Dratini is your best option. Lately Dratini are supposed to be among the most common Pokemon found in 10 km eggs, which is a good thing indeed, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a Dragon event, in order to boost our chances to find a Dratini out in the wild in order to reach the Dragon Tamer Gold badge quicker?
9) Make an Unown event
Ah, Unown. The most mysterious Pokemon, and also the Pokemon appearing in multiple forms (based on the Latin alphabet), and also having its own badge. So since it’s ultra rare as it is, why don’t we make an event so we can get our hands into some…Unowns?
10) Make the regional Pokemon available in every continent
I know that the Trade feature will become available soon as they say…but why you must try to find a tourist in order to give you his/her regional Pokemon (if he/she comes from another continent) instead of being able to find it on your own and in your own continent?
