(SPOILER ALERT) Why does Kylo Ren have a British accent?

Why would Kylo have a British accent? Sure, he was named (birth name) after a guy with a British accent, but neither of his parents have it. And he looks nothing like his parents!

There are so many actors out there who look like any number of people in his ancestry, and they had to pick one that looks and sounds nothing like any of them. WTF?

Because of who he was around. I didn't notice his accent much. I noticed Rey's accent more.

It sounds like he was taken in by Snoke when he was still young. Snoke has a British accent, so it could've rubbed off on him
