Gal Gadot -
Lynda Carter (the Wonder Woman everyone knows and loved) -
I do love Lynda Carter. But I am so pumped to finally see Wonder Woman on the big screen! We didn't see much of her in Batman v Superman, but from what I did I liked how she portrayed her. I also love, in the Wonder Woman trailer, how she looks as Diana Prince (with the '40s attire, glasses, etc.) She looks good, but I don't know how she can act. I've never really seen her other movies.
I did see the comic con trailer, and I like it. I like how the Amazons look as well, and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor is interesting. I'll be watching it in theaters.
I personally thought she would suck as Wonder Woman but she was actually pretty good and this was an accurate portrayal. They got some stuff right from the comics that the animated movies didn't (like her accent).
I'm glad she's finally getting her movie and I'm REALLY glad Zack Snyder is not involved. Wonder Woman has one of the best origin stories in comics and I also like the setting. I still wish they didn't go with her New 52 origin but it's something :P
As much as I didn't like Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, I never understood the overwhelming amount of underserved hate towards Zack Snyder as a director. Not all of his movie were bad. I thought his Watchmen movie was decent. I also thought Man of Steel was decent (though still no where near as good as the original Superman movie with Christopher Reeve). Snyder is no Christopher Nolan when it comes to making most DC live-action movies but as an overall film director (in general), he's still definitely much better than someone like Michael Bay.
Oh no. I don't think he's a bad director. I just think that he's not the person who needs to be in charge of the DCEU. He doesn't know what he's doing with half the characters and everything just seems rushed. I think he even admitted that he doesn't read comics. They should just get him to direct the action scenes instead.
The trailer was pretty amazing to me, I'm looking forward to seeing it
Gal's debut as Wonder Woman in Dawn of Justice was the only good thing in that movie, in my opinion, so I have hopes for her. I think it is good they are making her own movie, which I am looking forward to.
To be fair, I have never seen Lynda Carter's portrayal before, so I definitely need to see that before the new Wonder Woman movie is released. I'm sure both actresses are great.
I think she looks like her but she needs to bulk up a bit she's too slim, Wonder Woman is an Amazonian woman, feminine yet powerful in strength and stature. Either way, I'm glad to see WW. (And it's about time young girls have an actual role model instead of all the media whores in the music industry.)

Yeah that and not try to gender bend classic original movie male characters and treat them as if they're original. (*cough cough Ghostbusters*)
Yup.

I think Gal Gadot looks more athletic compared to Lynda, that's why I consider her a better Wonder Woman.
I haven't seen Dawn of Justice yet, so I can't give an opinion, but I don't see her as a bad option. There were better, but I don't think she's bad.
I thought she played a good Wonder Woman in Dawn of Justice so probably she will be good in her own movie.
Gal Gadot did great as Wonder Woman, but I think Megan Fox would be even better.
I think she's too skinny to be Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman has a full figured voluptuous body.
Linda Carter was skinnier than Gal...
I'm disappointed. I was hoping for Sienna Guillory (Jill Valentine) or Jamie Presley.
She was fine in bvs, trailer looks really good for wonder woman
She will never be Lynda Carter
She's gonna surpass Lynda Carter, easily
I think she really fits the role
